Today you will work independently on two short poems ("My Life Story" and "Holes").  I need you to go through and answer the questions the same way you would a piece from within your MCA folder.  Show your work and annotate the passage.

I will be grading two questions summatively for mood and tone.

When you are finished you may quietly read a book.

NO PASSES.  NO ELECTRONICS.  PLEASE, DON'T EVEN ASK.

If you don't finish you need to do these for homework BEFORE Monday!

If you finish early, your options are:

4. Help feed the hungry using free rice vocabulary words
5. If you'd like to watch the PC basketball game you may here.  It doesn't start till 12 and you'll need to wear headphones.  If you become a distraction for other students I will ask you to choose something else to do.
