3. Begin Page 3 by watching Making Effective Search Terms - Do EXACTLY as instructed in the video.  If you don't follow along exactly you may miss something.

4. HW: Finish BrainPOP Page 4 (front and back) - directions and video are listed at the top of the page.  You will probably need to watch it more than one time to get all the information.

PHASE ONE SHOULD BE DONE
1.  Make sure you've made the changes to your Phase 2 packet.  Check the packets Ms. E put out to make sure.

2.  Phase 2 Page 1.  Watch BrainPOP Internet Search and fill in the List The Steps section.

3.  Practice generating search terms by playing this game.  I would skip the video at the beginning.

4.  In the Narrow It Down section on Page 1 list the important words or phrases in the topic sentences.

Here is an example using different topics.


5.  Move on to Page 2.  Watch Page 2 Search Terms for how to complete this page.

HW: Page 2 is due on Monday

6.  To get ahead: You may begin page 3 by watching Making Effective Search Terms - Do EXACTLY as instructed in the video.  If you don't follow along exactly you may miss something.  DO NOT GO ANY FARTHER THAN PAGE 3 FOR MONDAY.
